Eh, he gets on base a good amount and is a good baserunner. I don't have a problem with him leading off.

Go get Matt Lindstrom

White Sox manager Robin Ventura announced Monday that Matt Lindstrom will be the team's closer.
Nate Jones was thought to have the edge going into camp and even coming out of it, but Ventura has opted for the more-experienced Lindstrom. The 34-year-old right-hander registerd a 3.12 ERA and 46/23 K/BB ratio in 60 2/3 innings last summer for Chicago and is now a must-own in fantasy leagues for the 2014 season.

Surprising turn of events, but capitalize on it.

Anybody know what kind of playing time we might see from Mike Carp in the early going? I find him very appealing on a per game basis so if he's going to be playing 4 or 5 times a week he makes a nice plug and play guy. I know they also recalled Jackie Bradley Jr., but I have to believe Carp will see more action.

Also Bryce Harper just hit his head on EY Jr.'s knee, if he needs a DL stint (still early to speculate), Nate McLouth is the next man up, and had a great season a year ago.

I'd keep my eye on Carp and McLouth here over the next few days.

Strasburg getting lit up and only hitting 94 mph on his fastball. I wonder where the velocity is!

And yeah Bryce Harper gave me a scare... Thank god he's ok.

Sal Perez with a pair of doubles in his first two ABs. Looks locked in right now.

I'm losing my fantasy edge. I can't even remember who is on my teams.

Strasburg isn't locating well, and the ump is calling balls and strikes at random. I lost Victorino for about a month today, the last thing I need is to lose my round 1 pick in Harper too. Ike Davis looks like he fixed his swing, no results yet but I have a feeling he breaks out this year

Cubs challenge the first play of the season but the call stands. Process took roughly a minute. Really no different than if a manager would have come out to really argue the call
