Wright Trade (time sensitive) - WHIR

Postby Hummus » Mon Mar 17, 2014 6:34 pm

I originally posted about Wright's value, and now I have several options, two are on the table, and two are in process. I will list them below, and please comment on what you would do, and how you would rank them.

This is a 12-team 12x12 H2H league with 3 keepers (no year limit on keepers).

My Keepers (I have the 4th overall pick, and I am not sure if Sale will be there):
1. Andrew McCutchen
2. Prince Fielder
3. David Wright

I love Wright (man crush), but with the Mets offense and his penchant for injury coupled with the fact that top pitching is going to be kept, I have put together the following options. In no particular order:

1. Wright for Verlander (owner is ready to pull the trigger)
2. Wright for J. Fernandez (owner is thinking...should have answer by tonight)
3. Wright for Longoria (owner is thinking) - I get younger and more pop
4. Wright and my third round pick for first and second round picks

Please rank in order, or let me know if I should just pull the trigger on the Verlander trade).

Note: I have already posted responses on topics on those who have already voiced an opinion (i.e., I always help in return).

For me I would go

2. As I would get Fernandez and run away with it, stellar for you
3. Longoria is a much better bat imo
1. Verlander will bounce back this year, but I rank this lower as he is getting older and innings are catching up, even with his arm
4. This is also a great deal for you and I am tempted to rank this higher, but I still would go with a player back first

Push for the Fernandez trade though, I would run with that hands down above all the rest, good luck
