Rank these SP- Bumgarner, Sale, Verlander, Price, Greinke

Yahoo 10 Team H2H. Standard stats + loses and K/9.

These SP are all going in the 4th-5th rounds and are all pretty similar.

ADP is very similar between these guys. Different sites have them listed in different orders, so it's pretty much a toss up.

So I'm just looking to hear what you think of these 5 Pitchers and where you would rank/target them.

I'm thinking about the same as I listed them. Bumgarner is only getting better. Sale had the most strikeouts and the best K/9 between them (9.49), but he's on the worst team and in the worst ballpark. Verlander is always reliable, even if he had a down year last year. Price and Greinke's strikeout numbers were down last. Greinke had 7.50, Price had 7.28 (they were both mid 8's last year) So that has me a little worried.

1. Bumgarner
2. Sale
3. Verlander
4. Price
5. Greinke

What do you guys think?

I like your order, although the 1st 3 could really be a push.

I'd go with those rankings too. I like Bumgarner and Sale the most from that list, with Bumgarner getting the edge.

I'd put Verlander 2 and Sale 3, I think Verlander bounces back this year.

1, Verlander
2, Price
3, Bumgarner
4, Sale
5, Greinke

Verlander is one of the more consistent pitchers of our time. Him and Price have good teams and K numbers for the wins and K/9 Greinke would have been higher if he hadn't got hurt. Bum and Sale are good but not Verlander or Price...

Price had the worst strikeout numbers out of all of them though. I know he may be a bigger name but the numbers don't lie. The declining strikeout rate has me a little worried. He also had the 2nd worst ERA and WHIP between these guys too. No way he's 2nd.

Given that losses are a factor, that knocks Sale down a bit, otherwise, he'd be #1.

1-Verlander(I expect a total bounceback from him)
2-Bumgarner
3-Sale
4-Price
5-Greinke

If you're not a believer in Verlander bouncing back, then I could totally understand going with Bumgarner, who's probably a bit safer. Given that you're taking a hit for losses, though, I'd have those two in a tier by themselves.

How bout your advice, too?
