New offer for McCutchen(WHIR)

Postby kidsilk » Thu Mar 06, 2014 11:38 pm

So those of you who have read and posted on my threads about trading Cutch the offer on the table has now changed.

The guy offered Gomez, Holliday or Machado and Lawrie for Cutch or Adam Jones and Lawrie for Cutch.

I just countered with Gomez, Holliday and Machado for Cutch or Jones and Holliday for Cutch.
Would you do either of his offers and if not are my counters good and fair?

I guess I could do the deal wit Lawrie if you guys think he's a better keeper than Cobb as my last keeper?

Agreed, none of the new offers blow me away. I think you are just moving laterally, trading a destroyer for a battleship; a knight for a rook.

I'd hold onto McCutchen. I got a HUGE return for him in my 16 team Dynasty league. He was my best chit and I got a TON of top flight prospects for him as the start of my rebuild so you should be able to do better than that offer.

Just for an example I got Bogaerts, Sano, Gausman, Giolito and Urias for McCutchen.

Keep McCutchen!!!! I don't like his offers at all. The offers you sent him are not great returns for your star player. But probably more than he is willing to pay from the looks of things. He's not a good option to trade with imo.

help on mine?
