Votto, Ellsbury, Stanton, Kipnis, Upton, Puig

After keeping Bruce, Myers and Fernandez, who do I target from the list above with my first pick?... I think more than 1 player in the subject line will be available, along with maybe Bumgarner and/or Sale (I pick 8th, with Kershaw likely going #1). There could also be Pedroia, Desmond, Verlander, Price and some others, but those 6 bats listed, along with the 2 pitchers, are my top rated available guys.

What is your order of preference from this group, knowing I have good power and an ace already? H2H, 6x6, with TB and Losses.

My order of preference:

Ellsbury
Votto
Puig
Kipnis
Stanton
Upton

I'd wait on pitchers since you have an ace

My preference order would be:
Votto, Ellsbury, Stanton, Puig, Kipnis, Upton

On a side note, if this is a keeper league, why would Kershaw be available with the 1st pick? Somebody drop him?

BTW, although you listed him, Upton wouldn't be on my top 30 list (and I assume you are referencing Justin not BJ)

Yes, it's a 3 year keeper league, so guys like Kershaw and some others are back in the pool this year. And yes, was referencing Justin Upton. Thanks for the input, I'll have to make a decision if it's Votto vs Ellsbury, as even though I probably should go with the 1b with 2 OF already, I may load up on the OF, grab my steals, and get someone like Hosmer, Gonzalez or Craig later. Puig carries too much risk for me, as I already am keeping 2 second year players, and Stanton could be tempting but my offense would really be boom or bust with him added.

Thanks, agreed except for Puig, I have him a little lower in that group.

Cano is being kept. There's a chance Pedroia, Phillips and or Carpenter are kept too.

I'd go with Ellsbury, Votto, Stanton, Kipnis, Puig then Upton.

Votto's lack of power concerns me a little but so does Stanton's lack of protection in the lineup. Ellsbury is a clear choice here. Kipnis may very well be the top producing 2B this season and has 30-30 potential.

Puig's ADP has been on the decline and I steer clear from Upton because he's too inconsistent. I'd consider Bum or Sale over him.
