RYAN BRAUN in the 1ST?

Postby bouncepass » Thu Feb 27, 2014 8:55 pm

I still think this guy is a STUD and a first round talent. I have the 5th pick in a keeper league draft with Trout, Goldschmidt, Chris Davis, and Encarnacion being Kept.....Is it a reach to take Braun in this spot??????

I would have to see all the players kept to give you a yes or no to your question.

I have no problem taking Braun 5th overall in a redraft.
In a keeper league that has to be an absolute steal.... I mean even if you guys only keep 4 players thats like getting Braun in the 5th round.

Btw if those are your keepers, and not just the first 4 picks ahead of you, prepare to destroy your league this season

He clearly mentioned the top 20 level guys being kept... :-?

With those guys being kept, the likely top 3 are Miggy, McCutchen, and Kershaw. After that, I think there is a giant group of guys in the next tier (Jones, Braun, Cano, Fielder, etc.). Especially being a keeper, I think Braun is a perfectly good choice if he is there for you at #5.

I have Braun ranked 4th overall. In a keeper you'd be lucky to get him at that pick IMO. Take him and run.
