I might be confused as well. From what i understand is, players are not in the database because they're probably not gonna be playing. So, a team who drafted a minor league player is being rewarded and given rights to an extra 1-3 guys.

I see it as we have 2 options, let everyone be on the honor system. if you see em add without a drop, they're probably going over their limit.

or

have them add complete randoms, like Russ Ortiz and Shawn Estes, that are of no use to fill up those missing spots. which sounds like could be the easiest.

Well, some of us have MLB roster players who are not listed in data base.

Can someone please update the minor league rosters. We are getting way too many double picks. I think bonifacio has been picked already

Bonifacio is was not owned until that last pick. Agree on MiLB roster update, we are about 60 picks behind

now that we've almost finished the milb draft, and we can see how many quality prospects are still available, are there other teams out there that are interested in continuing the draft? maybe for another 3-4 rounds?

I think I would rather wait until either mid season or next year before adding any more rounds to this initial MiLB draft

sportsguy already said we would only go 10 rounds, so lets leave it at that this year

I like sticking at 10 after the initial draft. Gives us something to look forward to during the season and after the season !+)
