Nick Franklin. He's a stud, and will be a stud with a better/more consistent higher batting average. Especially long term, give him a go. Villar, stolen bases can be found in free agency if really needed. Franklins apart of a project that will be on displace for the next couple of seasons at minimum. If seager, Franklin, miller, ackley, zunnino, and the best pitching prospects deliver. Houston is moving, but I don't think their pitching prospects and former first round picks will make as big of a impact fantasy/real baseball wise like the mariners should for the next few years. But to break down between villar/Franklin again.... I think like posted above Franklin is a good speed and power producer, and should hit for solid average, and will be a solid part of any roster for his ADP, value, production at second base. Which leads me to your post... "shortstop" Franklin will lose SS eligibility since he's a second baseman for the M's if that's something you need to look into
