So right now, my pitching is pretty solid but I am still short on 2 spots. We run a 12 team 6x6 league with the addition of OBP and CG.
Its very competitive and I am always trying to trade constnatly but a lot of the managers are afraid to trade. We had about 15 trades all season with me in 4 of them(including trading Scherzer for Asdrubal Cabrera/Neil Walker at the start of the year..BLEH). Our lineups are locked in at the start of the week so there is no siphoning pitchers.
My staff is
SP Cliff Lee
SP Francisco Liriano
RP Steve Cishek
RP Brad Ziegler
P John Lackey
Then their are 3 more P spots that I have available to be placed right now..But the remainder of my pitchers I feel are all similar. I want to hear your guys thoughts on who I should look to keep the remainder of the season and who I should try and trade for some hitters before the deadline passes. Here is what I have fighting for the last 3 P spots:
Jake Peavy
Miguel Gonzalez
Kris Medlen
Josh Johnson
Chad Gaudin
Wil Peralta
Luke Greagerson
As of now, I have Peavy/Gonzo/Medlen in the SL. Johnson I think can turn it on again, and Gaudin/Peralta are the hottest of all the pitchers listed above.
Which do you think have the best value for the remainder of the year for my team? Or should I be looking on the waiver wire for something else that might pop up later in the year...?
