When Roidy Cabrera was out, Rajai proved hugely valuable as a regular, esp. in SB's. But he's rarely starting these days...is he back to just being a pinch runner type/spot starter?

Started vs. RHP today, 1-3...with 3 SB. Dude = fantasy value regardless of playing time, makes the most of his opps.
Correction: FOUR(!) SBs.

So I picked him up to platoon against lefties, who he mashes against (.333 BA, 868 OPS, and 70% of his steals). Started him yesterday, and he doesn't play against LHP Keuchel. Benched him today, and he starts against RHP Cosart and get 4 SB's. Son of a...

Some leagues 2 or 3 starts a week when you need sb's is going to be good enough. Smaller leagues where you need 6 starts a week from every player he is going to be tough to play right now.It is a shame because he's playing so well and deserves to be starting 5 or 6 games a week, w/o an injury it just seems unlikely right now. My 14 teamer I started him last week but next I'm not...
Rajai owners, light your voodoo candles for Biogenesis to unleash hell on Melky.

The man is fantastic to play for SB's not much value besides that. I tend to have him on my bench and mid week if I need some SB's I'll throw him in there and he's good for around 3.
Not a guy I would like in the lineup every day though

Coming off Cris "all he does is catch touchdowns" Carter's HOF induction, I bring you Rajai "all he does is steal bases" Davis.
Three more SBs today.
Just play the guy full-time, Jays! He gets sh*t done!
