So I was proposed this deal: My Yu Darvish and Kenley Jansen for his Nelson Cruz and Daniel Nava. I rejected it, but he claims that I'm getting strong value for Darvish. I don't agree but thought I'd post to see what people think and for second opinions/explanations of why he's wrong so I can prove my point. Also looking for ideas for counters--I'm thinking of one of Votto/Bautista/Beltre straight up for Yu although he has been resistant to that.
It's a 12 team yahoo league, H2H 5x5 categories with QS instead of W, OBP instead of AVG, and SV+H (yes, one category) instead of SV.
I've been inconsistent offensively, especially with the recent loss of Braun, but strong in pitching, so I'm trying to deal off pitching to get bats. I am in 5th, 13 games out (but only 5.5 games out of second, 4 teams make the playoffs) and he is in first (and is very interested in Darvish). He also got Cruz from the 10th place team for Ernesto Frieri so I pointed out that it is kind of amusing he wants to flip him for Darvish.

tl:dr tell me why this is a bad deal so I can show this to him.
Any help you guys can provide is very much appreciated and I am more than happy to help in return!
