Phoenix, AZ (Sports Network) - The Arizona Diamondbacks Tuesday placed right- handed pitcher Shane Reynolds on the 15-day disabled list with an inflamed rotator cuff.
Reynolds was signed as a free agent by Arizona after he spent the 2003 campaign with Atlanta. He went 11-9 in 2003 with a 5.43 ERA in 30 games, including 29 starts.
Originally drafted by Houston in the third round of the 1989 June free agent draft, Reynolds spent the first 11 years of his career with the Astros. His best season came in 1998, when he was 19-8 with a career-best 209 strikeouts and a 3.51 ERA.
The 36-year-old Reynolds owns a career mark of 114-95 with a 4.09 ERA.
Meanwhile, the club recalled pitcher Andrew Good from Tucson of the Pacific Coast League.
