Thanks for the help with mine. I think I stay put. There aren't many stud catchers and you have at least the top 2 catcher in my book. And Rizzo has outplayed Butler, so no upgrade there.

I'd stay put as well for the same reasons.

If Butler were a bit more productive I would do this, but I would pass only because I think Mac's playing time will go down a bit once Gattis comes back.

Awesome. thanks. Forgot Gattis was on DL...no wonder McCann has been more productive.

I'd make that deal and I'm about as big a Molina fan that there is. McCann has looked pretty good and Butler is a nice upgrade.

It's a tough call. I try to get Molina in every league possible as the fantasy-WAR he provides over the average catcher is tremendous and gives you a huge advantage off the bat. Granted, McCann is having a good year but as far as I know Gattis should eat into his PT and I would be cautious with McCann because of injury considerations. As for the 1B, I personally believe Rizzo to be criminally over-rated especially by fantasy owners and Butler is starting to look like the real Billy Butler now. I would do the deal contingent upon swinging Rizzo for an OF or UTIL to try and grab some SB or additional power. Speaking of which, David Ortiz is criminally underrated by fantasy owners because you can only put him in the UTIL slot. You might be thinking "Ortiz is OPSing ~1.000, I don't want to buy high and get upcharged" but I have found that people who own him generally a., do not fully appreciate the production he provides, and b. don't think that Ortiz will continue to produce at an elite level, this latter point being a invalid contention IMO. Since his disappointing 2009 season during which everyone predicted doom and gloom for the slugger, he has lost a lot of weight and has worked on his approach at the plate, changing it. The weight loss has increased his bat speed and general conditioning. Additionally he has started going the other way and has become a monster at hitting to the opposite field. If you're a fangraphs person you can look at the advanced numbers they have which show his improvement in making contact and the way he has dominated fastballs, etc the past three years as a result of his changed approach forcing the pitcher's hand. To make a long story short, buy David Ortiz. I would trade Rizzo for him in a heartbeat seeing as you don't keep him.

If you have a moment and you don't mind, I am in need of some advice as well. I appreciate your help:

I would make that deal if you could keep more than 2, but seeing as you already have two obvious keepers, this deal is only for this season. In that case, with Butler playing as he is, I'd stand pat with Yadi.

Help with this really simple question here?
