Who to Trade for Hitting? WHIR

Postby Halo Girl » Wed Jun 12, 2013 6:45 pm

I've been working to drag myself out of the cellar after a poor start. I've picked up a lot of young pitching, but I feel like being in a weekly H2H with one more hitting cat than pitching, I should be going the other way. Am I heading in the right direction, or should I get some hitting off the wire/try and trade a closer/starter for some hitting? Thanks for the help. WHIR all the way.

My main issue is if you trade pitching, you have to be sure you are going to dominate hitting week in and week out since you won't be getting much help from pitching. Maybe you can get someone to bite and overpay for a young arm like Wacha or Cole, which would be your best move if you want to follow your plan
