Texas Rangers will look to "find time" for Profar..

im sure itll eventually happen but im crossing my fingers every start that he gets 1 more start at SS, especially with Andrus struggling a bit... I own him in every league, plus a keeper, the idea of having him 2B, SS, OF eligible gives me a "bro-ner" ....haha, nah but seriously, he could sneak in 3B if we somehow get lucky. They said about a week or more ago that hes 10-15 days from being ready to play LF, I really hope he gets that last start at SS before then, plus hes flashed some serious leather from the Left Side of the infield, so theres definitely no risk playing him there...

my keeper teams listed below and having Trout and Profar (who I kept lastyr), plus now having Puig, Fernandez, Gattis, and possibly Nick Franklin and/or Rizzo (kept lastyr) has me ready to go on a run!!!

it seems crazy to me, coming into 2013 Profar's the #1 prospect, how can he not play? I like them playing him around the infield to squeeze him in but if he's "playable" in the OF, how the heck isn't he an upgrade over D Murphy or E Beltre???

I just really hope he gets eligibility at either SS or 3B in addition to 2B/OF (eventually)

now 2B + SS eligible, only a couple more starts for 3B and OF looks like a lock, pretty great for those of us who own Profar in a keeper! TONS of value now... im thinking Ben Zobrist's Floor with a lot more upside

he's far from lighting the world on fire but he appears to be getting 5 games a week & I've gotta imagine Ron Washington has a gameplan going forward on how to utilize their Top Prospect. He's only 1 start from 3rd Base and 2 from OF (Yahoo!), he's obviously a Must-Own in Keeper Leagues but as of right now, in Re-Drafts he's NOT a must-own. In deeper leagues 14+, I'd stash him if I have room based on talent/upside & position eligibility alone. I could say the same for smaller leagues but its all about team needs. For example, I just dropped him in a 12 Team BIG Money League. It's a Points based scoring and even though it has CI, MI, & 2 Utility spots, I just cant hold em....

whatya guys think he's gonna do in the 2nd half of 2013? any predictions, will he find a permanent position in the Field & Lineup? will he play everyday and breakout as the NEXT young superstar Infielder? or will he continue to be ho-hum or leave us salivating for more next season??? You, the Café enlighten us......

just gained 3B eligibility & OF should be a lock for him to gain... Keeper Value is Sky-Rocketing but re-draft value isn't going up too much... though it is rising.

I would hardly say his keeper value is skyrocketing. He's already MI eligible and that's pretty much the pinnacle of his positional value. I'd still be worried that he is just a Howie Kendrick type guy (.300 - 15 - 15) with a better glove.

I agree that Profar hasnt really done anything at all to increase his value yet. Its entirely possible that he never develops into anything more than a mid round, serviceable but unspectacular player with nice positional flexibility.

How do you guys think Profar's value compares to the other recent MI callups, Miller and Franklin for the rest of this season?
How about in keeper leagues?
