Was that about the time you bought your first real six-string at the five and dime?

Domonic Brown, pulease. Kyle Blanks now has HR in back to back games. problem is he is likely just filling in for the injured Alonso at 1B. before that Blanks was playing here and there in the OF while Maybin was injured. it's too bad the Padres can't find regular playing time for Blanks full time going forward with everyone healthy. I think he could add some nice power.

I want to pick Blanks up so bad. I'm scared about PT.

I think he is a regular to start at 1B while Alonso is on the DL. rotoworld says Alonso hopes to be back in 3 weeks, but the Padres believe it could be a month. he might be on the bench the odd day just for a rest the way most full time players would. but I can't imagine why he wouldn't get significant playing time with Alonso on the DL.
once Alonso returns, who would be blocking Blanks in the OF? Venable? Denorfia? I imagine Maybin and Quentin are regulars who wouldn't be going anywhere.
