The Braves called up Alex Wood to pitch out of the bullpen.

I said at the beginning of the season that Delabar is a dark horse to close in the near future but the Jays called up Neil Wagner yesterday who has 13 saves in AAA and 32 K in 20 IP and a 0.88 whip

And Casey got the save last night. :*)

It wouldn't surprise me if Janssen only pitches in save situations for awhile. He probably won't get to vulture any wins during home games. He seems fine going forward for save chances, though.

Well the Padres/Mariners game is over in the third inning. the only thing we need to find out now is if the Friars will get a hit

With that pitching staff of yours, does it really matter if Peavy gets blown out every now and then?

Nick Franklin has more HR in 1 game than Dustin Ackley had all season.

how many people follow FIP? I don't look at it much myself. saw something mentioned on twitter that looks WOW really?! Angels relief pitcher Robert Coello. 0.87 ERA, 0.68 WHIP. FIP? .. -0.13. yes, that's a negative. -0.13 FIP.
