A real ace would've pitched the opposing team into negative runs for the win.

No love for Sale? He was amazing today. Quite a few masterful pitching performances this year, and this was not short of any of them.

OF - Bruce
OF - Gordon

Bench - Dee Gordon
DL - Heyward

SP - Hamels
SP - Shields

SP - S. Miller
SP - CJ Wilson
SP - Liriano
RP - Perkins
RP - Perez
RP - Bell
DL - Putz

Heyward will be back this week so he will be inserted back in the lineup once he shows he can hit, then I'll likely look to trade an outfielder. I kind of need Gardner in there right now for steals. I might see if I can deal Wilson + outfielder for a better starter. I was able to get Heyward in the 8th round since we turned it into a keeper league last season. My only regret right now is picking Trout over Braun, I got nervous about the steroid stuff which was really stupid of me, but Trout has been pretty good anyways. I was platooning Morneau/Moss before but then the Berkman owner dropped him to activate Freeman, so I used my waiver on him.

Not hating, but this shows just how wonky this season has been so far. That team looks no better than average to slightly above average in a 12 team league.

Just for contrast I have this team that I built in a 12 team keeper league that I think is a lot lot better on paper:
C: Carlos Ruiz
1B: Joey Votto
2B: Jason Kipnis
3B: Miguel Cabrera
SS: Martin Prado
OF: Justin Upton, Bryce Harper, Jacoby Ellsbury, Allen Craig
Util: Brett Lawrie
BN: Everth Cabrera
DL: Mark Teixeira
NA: Mike Zunino

SP: Alex Cobb, Matt Cain, Matt Harvey
RP: Ernesto Frieri (RP), Junichi Tazawa (RP)
P: David Robertson (RP), Greg Holland (RP), Sean Marshall (RP)
BN: Jeff Samardzija (, Jon Lester, Yovani Gallardo, Jose Fernandez , Homer Bailey, Clayton Kershaw
DL: Matt Garza
NA: Dylan Bundy

yet this team is only .500 and sitting in 6th place. Looking at the roster I'd think I would have a .700+ winning %
