I wouldn't trust Teheran against the Nats. Or against anybody, for that matter. He's terrible in all categories with no signs of imminent hope. He couldn't strike anybody out to save his life right now. I'd definitely rather go with Fernandez. Struggled last time out against the Twins, but he's already dominated the Mets once this season.

I spot started Lilly in two weekly leagues. Please give me a good first game so I'm not so worried about the 2nd one!

This could be the week that Hamilton puts up some numbers. Last week he batted .321, but no counting stats to speak of because the Angels are 18th in the league for scoring runs. They've scored 97 runs in 22 games and their payroll is $142,165,250 this year. There is some math to be done here some where. :-?

No David Wright for the Mets tonight. Gotta start him against that lineup.

Could also be because Hamilton has an ISO of 0.000 over the past week along with a BB% of 0.00. It's hard to accumulate R/RBI when you're a terrible hitter. The rest of the lineup has generally pulled it's own weight this season with the exception of Pujols being un-Pujolsian, but he's being pitched around a lot, too. I was listening to a game on the radio last week and they intentionally walked him twice in the same game to get to Hamilton. Once in the 7th inning with the score 3-3 and a runner on third with 2 out and a righty on the mound, and again with the bases empty in the 13th inning of a tied game.

Yup, this was what sealed it for me. I'll roll both Fernandez and Harvey and hope for a 1 - 0 Met win with a W for Harvey and a ND for Fernandez, and 10 Ks apiece. :-b

I knew the Jays had a lot of question marks heading into this season and wasn't buying the hype just yet, but jesus everything has gone wrong for this team so far. Terrible defense and can't score runs without homering a bunch in a game..just brutal baseball to watch.
