Flawed team or just a bad start? WHIR

10-team standard 5x5 roto keeper league.

After the draft I was VERY happy. I felt that I was one of the 2 or 3 teams to beat.

Then the season started and reality smacked me in the face. My team has been stuck in last place for the last week and a half.

I know it's I don't want to overreact. And a couple of injuries haven't helped. But it's frustrating, and I don't want to ignore any glaring issues in the name of "being patient".

So here is my team:

c: John Buck
1b: Anthony Rizzo
2b: Jose Altuve
3b: Mike Moustakas
ss: Troy Tulowitzki
of: Justin Upton
of: Josh Hamilton
of: Jose Bautista
ut: Jason Heyward
ut: Ryan Howard

b: Freddie Freeman (dl)
b: Brett Lawrie (dl)
b: Brian LaRoche
b: Nick Markakis
b: Brian McCann

sp: Cole Hamels
sp: Madison Bumgarner
sp: Jordan Zimmerman
sp: Brandon Morrow
sp: Cj Wilson
sp: Lance Lynn
sp: Alexi Ogando

rp: Joe Nathan
rp: JJ Putz
rp: Chris Perez
rp: Shaun Camp (cubs closer with Fujikawa going on DL today)

So, what do you think?

Is it time to panic?
Should I be patient and chalk the extended stay in the cellar to just a slow start?
Are there some obvious tweaks/changes that I am missing?

Thanks in advance.....of course, WHIR!!!

Looks like a slow start to me. Most of your outfield is good but they haven't done anything yet. It won't stay that way though. CJ Wilson is worrying me. Hes never been lights out but he should be doing better than he is. Looks like a slow start but never stop looking for ways to improve your team.

i feel you with the injuries man this is my 3rd year in a extremely competitive and active 20 team roto league . i just lost yoenis cespedes and wilson ramos today to the DL and i was counting on them more than ever after trading away chris davis, anyways looking at your roster id exercise patience more than anything with the players you have it is only the second week of the season. Also i put this little statement in the notes section in my roto league on yahoo so everytime i check my team page i see it and keep it in mind , maybe itll give you some encouragement.

help with mine?
