Trade Made! Next Steps? WHIR

Postby sigriffey » Fri Mar 29, 2013 12:43 pm

So I just made the following trade, which is pending approval by the Yahoo! office so hopefully all goes through:

I gave up: CJ Wilson and Julio Teheran
I received: Yu Darvish

It was a two for one deal, shouldn't you have a open roster spot to grab pettitte.

If not, I think you Pitching is absolutely stacked I don't think you need to add Pettitte at all.

Oh, you are absolutely right! Good call, sir. I will have an open roster spot come Monday I believe.

Just looked at your team, that is one stacked lineup as well.

I don't love much of the available players.

Pettitte and Marmol might be worth a shot or Carlos Quentin or Ryan Ludwick might have a little upside on your bench.

Thanks. I guess for now I just sit tight. Can you place a claim on someone if you aren't designating a dropee? I think it may not know that I will have an empty spot until I do, so in that case I'll just be quick to the wire after the trade processes.
