Draft Tomorrow WHIR

Postby ahcryky » Tue Mar 26, 2013 5:53 pm

Okay, worked a trade to help out a new owner taking over a last place team in my keeper league. We keep 8 so draft starts in 9th round. Traded Ellsbury, Hanley, Beltran, and Sele, with 17/19 round draft picks. I wasn't going to keep Beltran or Sele. I got Felix and his 9/11th round picks. So I have pick 1,10,11 in the first two rounds. Scoring cats are R,HR,RBI,SB,BB,TB,OPS. W,SV,HR,K,ERA,WHIP,QS H2H each cat. My keepers are
R. Braun
A. Gonzalez
B. Lawrie
J. Votto
B. Phillips
C. Kershaw
J. Cueto - Ended up keeping him with the traded away keepers
F. Hernandez - got in the trade

Top available batters that would be top 50 that I would consider.... But leaning Gonzalez.... But Reyes would be my next choice.......
C. Gonzalez
J. Reyes
S. Castro
B.J. Upton

Also pitchers sitting there.........
Y. Darvish
J. Weaver
C. Kimbrel
G. Gonzalez

Is C. Gonzalez a no brainer?

Thanks and leave a link and I will help with yours.

Cargo is a no brainer. You might be able to get Gio or Kimbrel at 10.

I agree, you have to go with Cargo's elite offensive numbers.

I agree with CarGo.

I would have kept Sale over Cueto. I think Cueto is the most underrated pitcher in the MLB, but I like Sale in your categories.

You just helped me, thanks. Wondering why you like Peavy at $2 over Samardjza at $2?

Yeah 100% Cargo. He's at a different level than the other options

CarGo definitely. However, are you only talking about one pick or two picks? Because I would strongly consider Darvish as well. I believe he is going to be a monster this year. Hope this helps.

Help with mine please?
