Re: ******Massive Blockbuster Pre-Season Trade - WHIR 100%**

I'd pass. Stanton for Trout you make a huge gain, but you give it all back and then some when you give up Butler/Granderson for Rizzo/Hunter. I wouldn't give up Butler alone for the pair, and Granderson, while injured, still carries fair value. JD Mart/Rondon are minimal values and minimal difference, and honestly the E-Jax/Miley is a similar situation. In the end, you do gain Trout, but the price is a shade high.

I also think you are giving up just a bit too much in this deal for it to make sense.

I just don't think Hunter has much value left.....which tips the deal too far in the other guys favor.

It wouldn't be a terrible trade,,,,you would be getting best player in the deal....but i still pass

According to SF papers, looks like good news re: Pablo's elbow. So if you could get him to throw in Sandoval, I think it becomes a good trade for you"

Trout > Stanton
Pablo > Granderson
Rizzo < Butler
Jackson = Miley (maybe slight edge to Miley)
Rondon = Martinez (rondon has better upside if he can get job as closer....but that's a big "if")

And then you have Hunter thrown in......and while I am not a huge fan, he is a serviceable 4th outfielder in a 13-team league.

You are getting the best player in the deal AND you are getting the higher volume of players....that's a nice combo.

I would probably make the trade........assuming that you have an expendable guy on your bench to drop (since it is an unbalanced trade). If your bench is deep enough you would have to drop somebody valuable, I might hesitate.....otherwise go for it.
