I'd keep Beachy and put him on the DL and pick up another FA after the draft. Beachy will be of good value next year and beyond.

please help

Thanks for helping on mine.

I'd go with Ortiz. I believe that getting him in the 7th round represents value.

I would just go with Beachy if you can continue to keep him late for a few years.
If this is a H2H league he should provide a nice boost for the stretch run + playoffs, and he is much more likely to return surplus value over the next few years than Ortiz.

I personally like Hunter more than Beachy or Ortiz this season. I feel like you could always redraft those guys. So with how your draft works, if you dont keep Ortiz at 9 does that mean you still get your 9th round pick?

Beachy, but like the guys have said I don't love either option all that much.

Ortiz. I think Ortiz is the better pick for this year. If you are not concerned about Ortiz's value to you this year, keep Beachy.

I really like Beachy but even when he comes back this year I don't think he will contribute much at all. It not be until 2014 all star break that Beachy is truly back.

Thanks for helping me. Ortiz will most definitely help you this season more, where Beachy is a longer term pick. Do you see yourself keeping Beachy next year if he gets somehow back in form?

(* round that each player can be kept in)

Mark Trumbo - 11th round*
Chris Sale - 12th round*
Johnny Cueto - 14th round*
Bryce Harper - 17th round*
Jason Kipnis - 18th round*
Matt Harvey - 21st round*

Trying to decide if I should keep David Ortiz in the 9th round or should I keep Brandon Beachy in the 17th round? I also could keep Torii Hunter in the 16th round.

David Ortiz has 1B eligibility in my league, so that adds value to him. Beachy won't be back till late June b/c of Tommy John surgery.

This is a 12 team league with 7 keepers each so that dilutes the draft some and adds value to everyone.

What do y'all think?

WHIR just leave a link

Ok I have read the responses these awsome posters have said, but to me it looks like u have a solid foundation of keepers there(depending on size of league, and what kind of line up do u guys use?)....but to me I like offence, And u said Ortiz is 1st base eligiable, to me thats a keep......you have sale and cueto already, get rid of harvey and keep hunter(this guy gets to hit 2nd in that lineupWOW), And let beachy go back as well, this guy had surgery and nothing is a guarentee with pitchers and surgery....
so I would keep
Trumbo..triple position eligibility
Sale...stud
Cueto...stud
Harper...stud
Kipnis...15/25 2nd baseman and only getting better
Ortiz...Available at 1st has me sold
Hunter...That lineup is sick, how would u like to hit in front of 2 guys named miggy and prince.....
Thats just me, I know hunter and ortiz are older, but I go for it every year...thats how I play....good luck
