Watched the end, he looked physically okay to me. He got squeezed by the ump on the first batter that lead to a walk, second batter bunted runner over, third batter hit a ball hard into outfield that took an odd carom off the wall and led to an inside the park homer, ending the game. The results weren't good, but to me, I didn't see any visible injury. (Fyi, I own Brothers and not Betancourt).

Jim Johnson is getting hit around quite a bit in Toronto right now. Might be a good time to stash Hunter.

I don't think Hunter is next in line. I think O'Day is the guy to stash.

Are Peralta and or krod upgrades to Casey Jansenn and or Andrew bailey? I think if Peralta gets named closer add him drop Jansenn thoughts?

Hunter or O'Day? Hunter has the better stats, but rotowire via fangraphs saying O'Day should be next in line...

Chris Perez blowing up too. Pestano is the stash there, can't imagine Tito puts up with that much longer.

No way. Casey Janssen and Andrew Bailey are entrenched rock solid closers at the moment (never mind the fact that Toronto hasn't had a single save opportunity in two weeks). Janssen has been pretty much lights out in all save opps so far this year. Got touched up a bit this week in non-save situations this week that was mostly due to rusting away on the bench. No idea why he didn't pitch the 9th today against Baltimore since he could have used the work. Would have gotten the win in their comeback against Johnson.

Even if Peralta is named the closer, i'd rather have Janssen since he's a bit more proven. I'm not too worried about his health so far, and the save chances will eventually come.

Perez pulled from game with arm injury. Any guess as to who is next in line, but I grabbed Shaw and Joe Smith. Pestano doesn't seem like an option at the moment.

O'Day has been the set up guy all year, and he was the most consistent receiver for the O's last season. While I could be wrong, I'd be shocked if he's not next in line.

Francona told reporters that Perez felt pain in his throwing shoulder. Getting looked at now. We'll know more on Monday.
