Yup. Paco is really just a LOOGY and has several guys ahead of him for saves.

Any chance that Matt Reynolds steals the 9th inning job if Bell falters? Gibson has already gone with him instead of Hernandez on a couple of occasions.

Again, being a lefty probably hurts him. Also I'm pretty sure both his saves came in extra inning wins where Hernandez had pitched in a set-up role before the Giants tied the game up late.

Brandon League is still the Dodgers closer "for now," manager Don Mattingly said.

Kiss of death. If Jensen is still somehow available in your league, make the move to get him.

Kenley Jansen with the save for the Dodgers last night.

this is what rotoworld had to say.
Kenley Jansen got one out in the ninth to earn his second save of the year Tuesday against the Nationals.
Manager Don Mattingly said Brandon League was the closer Monday, but he made it clear tonight that Jansen is the guy he has faith in. It was Jansen who warming up in both the eighth and ninth innings with Clayton Kershaw fatiguing, and when Jansen got the call with two outs in the ninth, he fanned Tyler Moore on four pitches. Whether this means it's now Jansen's job is up for debate. One thing is for sure: he should be owned in all formats.

this is what razzball had to say.
The other day Don Mattingly said something like this, “When your closer can’t close, but you need games closed and you have a closer in name and a non-closer closer, who’s your closer? The guy who’s closing games? I don’t know. I’m seriously asking. I would think it’s the guy you call closer, but we call Brandon League the closer and he can’t close, so the closer must the guy we don’t call closer but can close games named, Kenley Jansen. Warmer… Warmer… No, now you’re getting colder. Go back the other way.” Kenley Jansen got the save. YAY!…But…BOO!…It was on the tail end of an 8 2/3 IP, 11 Ks, 6 baserunners stunning performance by Clayton Kershaw, so it wasn’t a stereotypical save. I would’ve preferred to see a standard “closer enters to start the 9th inning” save before telling people to drop League. I’d hold both for now, but a new era (not the hats) may be upon us.

fantasy baseball page. there are different writers, but the main guy "Grey" IMO gives good advice. you can ask for advice in the comments for a story on your own personal team, whether it's a pick up or trade.
he has his own projections and rankings before the season starts.
one of the sites I check every morning to see what he has to say. every Friday afternoon he also has his own buy and sell.

sweet thanks. This thread is like a pitcher who gets 4K's in one inning for education.
