I agree Bailey is the guy to grab, has the experience, has pitched well this season, and he was suppose to be the 9th inning guy before his injury.

My stud closer is Papelbon.

Would you drop Bobby Parnell, Brandon League, or Kelvin Herrera for Bailey?

Tough call... I'd keep League and Parnell since they're for-sure closers right now. And if Herrera officially takes the role from Holland (he already has 2 saves) he instantly becomes one of the top closers in fantasy baseball. Bailey has been dominant as well but has a rough injury history and hasn't been given a save opp yet. So no, I don't think I'd drop any of them for Bailey, although the league setup would determine the final decision (seems pretty shallow). Do you have any other players you can drop?

Rumors of K-Rod being dealt. Any guesses on landing spots? Cubs seem like they could use a proven guy. Angels have reportedly passed. That said, if he isn't being considered over Henderson in MIL, how good can he really be looking?

Looking at future season closer scenarios, are there any obvious closers in waiting?

I am looking specifically today at the Yankees situation. It seems like David Roberson is the obvious closer in waiting but is that really accurate? He lost the job to Soriano and then only is on a 1 year deal with the team. Is there reason to have confidence in him for the future?

Rondon in Detroit?

Pryor in Seattle?

Robertson only lost the job because he got hurt, but he was a better pitcher than Soriano was last year. At this point I expect him to take over when Mariano leaves.

Josh Fields in Houston. Veras kinda sucks and Fields has a pretty sick fastball. If he comes back healthy I could see him getting the job sometime this season.

Herera
Bailey
Cishek- I know he is the current closer, bit how many saves can be expected?
