I recently had to leave my team and partner up with another owner. It's created an awkwardness in terms of the direction of our team.
This is a 20-team mixed auction keeper 5x5 with 3-year contracts.
I am considering that we trade away Freddie Freeman entering the final year of his deal at $7 for Leonys Martin with two years left on his deal at $7 and Alexi Ogando with two years left on his deal at $5.
Heading into the auction, it does not appear anyone has created a monster keeper list, so we've got a shot this year. But boy we have some work to do (no MI, no SB, no Sv, 1 SP, etc) I keep erring on the side of 2014 because some of our future values look so good, but I don't want to sabotage any chance we might have this year. Our keepers (we can keep 15, but look how paltry!):
Player - Contract year - Salary
FFreeman 3 - $7
MMachado 2 - $7
Dirks 2 - $1
Ludwick 3 - $4
Yu 2 - $7
WLopez 2 - $1
Parnell 2 - $1
Here's the really good - his farm:
OTaveras
Bogaerts
ZWheeler
Some other riffraff we have that I'm trying to trade off include Chris Johnson at a buck, Brandon Moss at $10, Boesch at $3, and James McDonald at $4.
So, should we trade Freeman, or am I overreacting? Please let me know if I left out any crucial information.
Thanks!
