King Of The Hill Baseball (KOH) est. 2004:
If you think that you are a good fantasy baseball player then this is the league for you. The entry fee is $250 and the level of competition is very high. The top 5 finishers win prizes. We are seeking quality owners who are active with their teams (and on the message board hopefully).
Unique Draft :
The draft starts on March 1. It is a snake draft that is done by phone. I call each owner when it is their turn and they make their pick. It is a slow draft that takes around 10 days depending on cooperation, and email draft updates and updated rosters are sent out frequently. Trading picks is allowed before and during the draft. If you like the experience of going through the draft and being a part of all of its nuances then this is the league for you.
Think about when the NFL has their draft. Sure, you can just open up the paper the next day and read about who was drafted by each team. But I like watching the teams go through the process and building up the suspense. That is what KOH is like. If you are the type who wants to go online at a certain time and have a draft that is over in 2 hours, and it’s going so fast that you barely have time to digest what you are doing, let alone what the other owners are doing, then KOH is not for you.
Veteran KOH owners will tell you that after going through this draft, they are then 100% ready for their other drafts. They will tell you that they dominated their other 10, 12, or 15-team draft and it was easy. Why? Because we are micromanaging the draft here and guys are talking shop other throughout the experience.
We have 2 openings and we are seeking quality, knowledgeable owners who play until the whistle. Those of you who are merely contributors to leagues and lose interest by week 5 if you are not in contention need not inquire. If you are interested and would like to know more, email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
or call Dave at 909-499-2718. I can send you an invitation to the league so you can check things out as well as answer questions.
