Why would Crisp not be a factor?

Cause he has never been all that good. Negative in 4 of 5 categories and can't stay healthy. Never walks either. The only thing he brings to the table is SBs and that is when he is on the field. Been in the Majors since 2002 and never played more than 145 games (twice). His best year was with Cleveland 8 years ago. I do not see him as a consideration in this deal. He is basically a throw in.

If you have a chance to win this year, I would go with the Lee side, but long term, I take Hellickson side.

Help with mine? viewtopic.php?f=26&t=453983

I'd take Hellickson and Jennings for sure.

I would take the Lee side.
Hellickson is overrated. He's more likely to regress given his babip and strand rates.
Jennings has more power, but so far, hasn't proven he can hit for average.
Crisp matches him in everything but hrs.
Of course in 3 years, this deal no longer likely wins.

it would not surprise me at all to see crisp outperform jennings this year. he's also way more valuable than hellickson. he's hardly a non-factor.

I have to agree with keeping the young guns over the vets in a dynasty format. I also agree that short term (2013) Lee and Crisp could help you account more. I think Jennings will finally pass "potential" status.
