Tyler Skaggs is coming off waivers on Sunday, and I have the #5 waiver wire spot and trying to decide if I should use it on Skaggs.
I know it's late in the season and likely very few other opportunities will come up to use it, but being in the thick of the playoff hunt (T-6th place, top 6 MAKE THE PLAYOFFS) I'm tempted to hold on to my position just in case another team calls up a prospect as a September call-up. Plus, without knowing the role Skaggs will fill when he stays up it makes it more difficult, as #5 WW on a reliever would be a waste I think.
But I wanted to get some other thoughts - given my pitching staff below, am I correct in holding off unless the D-backs announe that Skaggs will continue to start?
