We have a manager that had to step down due to a new job promotion that left him no time for fantasy baseball (sad I know). He asked that I find a replacement manager to take over his team because he doesn't want to let the league down by having an inactive team.
The team is paid for this season ($200) and is eligible for any prize amounts; however I'm asking that the new owner go ahead and pay a $100 down payment towards next season (so you would only owe $100 in the offseason for the 2013 season). That way we know you are committed to returning and you are serious about taking over this team.
About our league...if you are looking for a fun and in-depth league where you really are a GM / Manager then this league is for you. We use Yahoo for game management. We are a salary keeper league (salary increments each year you keep a player) with minor leaguers. One look at our league website and you can tell this league is the real deal (http://mlb.fscen.com/
). Feel free to browse around and see our league activity and history. We are in our 2nd season. Our League Constitution can be found here (http://mlb.fscen.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=6&Itemid=8
The team you would be taking over is the Lake Erie Bombers. You ofcourse will get to submit your own team name and logo upon taking over the team.

- not many prospects left because he traded several away recently to land Kershaw. If this league looks like something you are interested in then please email me at email@example.com. I'd rather you email me and not PM me on the Cafe because sometimes I forgot to check my forum messags on here. But if you must PM me I'll try to get back with you ASAP. :p
Thanks for taking the time to read over this post and I hope you are interested. We hope to find a replacement this week!
Oh and in case you are wondering the team currently sits at 6-8 record wise and in 4th place in the SOUTH division. Mets and Texans (me) are at 8-6 and the division leader Atlanta is at 9-5. 8-6 is currently the 6th seed record and 2nd wildcard spot so you are by no means out of it for this season.
