Pick a MI and UTL bat (Berry, SP?)

Postby MadDog36 » Wed Jun 27, 2012 1:36 pm

Dropping Nate Eovaldi and Chris Davis.
Snagging Quentin Berry with one of the spots (don't need the help in speed) but his OBP/runs/BA I can use.

I picked up GLenn Perkins I thought he was closing, but Burton got the last two saves I think. Which one of them will close? I can use the holds since three of my four holds guys either became a closer themselves, starting stinking, or are out. so what yall think?

I am wondering about few of my starters:
Wandy, Billingsley, and Anibal Sanchez -- would you consider dumping any of these three for any of the following:

Jon Niese (is an intriguing option)
Hiroki Kuroda (stabalize the back end of my staff)
Jose Quintana (who is this guy and what can I compare him too?)
Travis Blackley
Jair Jurrjens (his numbers well suggest that was a fluke)
Mike Leake (was a promising prospect can't put it together for a lengthy time)
Mike Minor (released rights could stash him)

For my MI: Elian Herrera, Chris Nelson
For the OF: I grabbed Berry for Davis, good move I think.
Now that Rizzo is up and LaHair to OF when are the Cubs going to let Campana play every day. He's havoc on the basepaths and isn't a terrible hitter. Come on. Are you guys holding onto him?

you have a lot of options with SP i would go with jurrigens untill he struggles. he had 12 wins with 1.96 a year ago maybe he can get back to form. kuroda is solid will maintain about a 3.50 era get wins here and there keeps whip low and gets ks between 3-6 a game. Minor is another upside his k/9 rate is very nice but he has that 1 inning every game where he lets up 3-4 runs.

i like any of those guys. to stash and see.
