Hughes had another good start last night, but I feel like I'm playing Russian Roulette every time I start him. I could get a gem or a total flop. I'm wondering if it's worth grabbing Andrew Cashner before someone else does.

If I don't drop Hughes, I could probably drop Montero or maybe Hart.

Team/league info below. Thanks!!

Want to grab him before someone else does. Anyone have an opinion here?

Cashner is just as much of a gamble as Hughes. They both throw hard and lack control. Cashner would be my pick because of division/ballpark.
Here's the pitch on the way, a swing and a belt! Left field! Way back! BLUE JAYS WIN!

What about dropping Montero? He almost never starts (only when Posey isn't playing) and is one of the worst batters I have this season, even though all he does is ride the bench. I was hoping he would be great and then I'd be in the position of being able to trade him or Posey at a premium at the deadline, but he's done nothing so far and is just eating up a roster spot. Still, I was a Posey owner last year, and the risk of injury scares me in to keeping Montero. Not a lot of decent options out there if Posey goes down again.

Do not drop Montero. You may be able to trade him off, something you definitely wouldn't be able to do with Hughes. C is a shallow position, SPs a dime a dozen.
