What sort of infielder can I get for Cueto/Vogelsong?

Postby PhightinFils » Wed Jun 27, 2012 11:32 am

I'm in a 2 catcher, 5x5 with OBS instead of AVG. I think I need to make an improvement, so I was hoping to package Weeks or Youk along with Cueto/Vogelsong to improve one of my infield spots. Any suggestions on what tier/who to target?

My team:
C:Ruiz
C: Perez
1B: C. Davis
2B: Ackley
SS: Castro
3B: Headley
CI: Youkilis
MI: R. Weeks
OF: McCutcheon/J. Upton/Swisher/Willingham/Pence
DH:Butler
DL:Iannetta

SP:Hamels/Greinke/Gio/Cueto/Vogelsong
RP:Clippard/Frieri/Motte/Street

DL:Lilly

It's a 12 teamer mixed league (forgot to mention that), but thanks for the advice! I wasn't sure if I could target someone of his caliber or not.

I mean it's unlikely he'll accept but if he needs pitching and a 3B/1B then it's worth a shot...

Reyes sounds kind of high to me. Besides you already have Castro. If you shop Vogelsong/Weeks or Youk you might be able to pull off a Cuddyer Phillips level guy. If you go with Cueto MAYBE you can try a Kinsler, but the owner would have to be desparate.

I like this. Maybe someone like Dan Uggla too would be in that range. I really like Phillips so I'd give him a shot. He's been pretty hot lately, though, so he could be harder to pull.

Good luck, and thanks for the help on mine!
