I'm thinking about adding Revere and dropping Brantley, what do you guys think about that move? Who will be better for the rest of the year. I really haven't had anybody giving me speed (SBs) since Kemp has been out...aside from the occasional swipe from Brantley, Fowler, Jeter, or Jennings. Revere has no power to speak of, but he has an excellent contact rate and the speed to turn contact into base hits. So I'm assuming he will continue to carry a good average and could end up with alot of SBs (maybe even an elite SB option). He's also scoring a decent amount of runs batting 2nd in the Twins lineup.
The reason I say Brantley for Revere is that I just don't wanna give up on Fowley yet...i've been burned this year already by giving up on a bunch of guys way too early (Trout, Trumbo, and Sale)...had all three and dropped them, oooouuuuch right! Fowler also had a red hot end to his 2nd half last year and maybe he breaks out after the all-star break. In my mind though Brantley, Fowler, and to a lesser extent Revere offer the same kind of player in my mind, but Revere seems to be playing the best at this point. So would you add him and drop Brantley? or drop Fowler (if you think I should cut bait)? or even Kendrick (also waiting for him to rebound in 2nd half)? Thanks for your help and leave a link to your post so I can return the favor.
