Ian Kinsler: Value?

Postby Bravos of Steel » Mon Jun 11, 2012 7:01 pm

What is the consensus on his trade value? I have an excellent hitting team, and need pitching. Is it realistic to go after a 1 for 1 deal with a top guy (Felix, Verlander, Hamels, etc.)?

Kind of depends on what league you are in and how that league values pitchers compared to hitters. Also depends on the teams need. If they already have Pedroia or a good 2B then they are much less likely to make this deal.

Saying all that I would be fine going after a top SP. Verlander might the tough one to get but the other two should be about right in most leagues.
