I'm currently second in my 10 team non keeper mixed head to head league. (standard ESPN rules). I rank high in all offensive categories except average, though slowly improving. Pitching wise, my only strength is saves however I am losing Clippard soon. My starters outside of Hamels have been so abismal that I am going to concentrate on saves, era, and whip the rest of the way while streaming favorable matchups.
The trade offer for Carlos Beltran is Mark Trumbo, Joe Nathan, Ryan Howard, and Clay Bucholz.
I know Trumbo's average will regress but the power and production is real. Who knows what Howard will give the rest of the season. Bucholz seems to be finding his groove with a string of quality starts and some backing from the offense. And Nathan is no doubt one of the top closers.
The rest of my team is as follows:
Nolan Reimold on DL
James Shields (needs to get it together)
Erik Bedard - streamer spot
I am considering counter offering with Trumbo, Austin Jackson, and Joe Nathan in return for Beltran.
His team is near the top in every offensive category so I am worried about giving him too much offense with Beltran but I seem to be getting a lot in return for other categories. The rest of his team is as follows.
Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
