Personally, I think you're giving up way too much for Weaver. I think Upton for Weaver would be okay, but Braun is way more valuable than any SP.

Here are the Mid-May re-rankings by ESPN fantasy analysts:

Braun - 1 overall (best player in fantasy going forward by consensus of the panel)
Upton - 19 overall
Weaver - 21 overall

Rankings are obviously just guidelines to give an idea of what's fair, but my instinct told me the same thing before I went to the rankings for insight. I think that you have to hold on to Braun no matter what. If you can do Upton for Weaver, I say do it. I love Craig and think he should be starting for you (as long as he's healthy). Another thing you could do if the other owner values Craig is to package him with another player, maybe even a solid SP option on your team (any "sell high" candidates you're thinking about shopping) and putting in an offer for Weaver. You never know what another owner's perceptions are, and talks have to start somewhere.

Hope this helps!

Completely agree with the last post. My first thought was Braun is too much. Then that Upton for Weaver is a good fit. From what Im hearing, Upton just doesnt look right, and you could get someone to grab for the name value in hopes they are buying low on him.

Although your staff could really use Weaver, there is no way you should do it straight up for Braun. I agree with the last two posters, I think you could even package a hot Quentin, but Upton should get you Weaver. If not, keep shopping.
