Parnell strikes out Ankiel on the 100 mph fastball to keep it tied.

Running through Ankiel's mind during the at-bat was "how does he throw it that fast and over the plate at the same time?"

Sean Marshall has been unhittable since being removed from the closer role in Cinci. Dude hasn't surrendered a single solitary Hit... :-°

I don't own Lincecum in any leagues, but I imagine those who do own him must be so frustrated.
looking at some numbers on fangraphs, he shouldn't be this bad.
he has 61.8 LOB%.
fairly high .327 BABIP.
but his walks are too high at 5.07 BB/9.
his LD% is high at 25.7

for those interested in streaming pitchers. Clayton Richard goes tomorrow at home against SF. home this season- 2.12 ERA/ 0.97 WHIP. he's always done well career at PETCO.
(hopefully I didn't jinx it)

So far so good for Bass. I'm starting him and sitting him in favor of the awful Ervin Santana. I saw that Ervin was a 2 start pitcher but didn't check the schedule carefully enough to see that Bass also was a 2 start pitcher. oops. Ervin isn't even good enough for a 24 tm league right now.

Quentin has been on fire since coming off of the DL.

What's the scouting report on Garett Richards? I'm not watching but he has a nice line through 3 innings. I might need him in my points league that goes deep in starting pitching.
