He's offering Josh Hamilton, Adam Wainwright, Chipper Jones(DL), Justin Morneau for
Evan Longoria, Jason Heyward, Lance Lynn, Jason Motte

EVen though I'm getting the Best player in the deal I'm not sure I like this deal. I know Wainwright should be better eventually but he just got shellacked again tonight. Really don't like giving up my 3rd baseman. Don't like giving up saves. Don't like Chipper or Morneau. It looks like a fairly balanced trade. So, Why don't I like it?

No, no, no.

You're getting NOTHING but long-term fantasy question marks. Will Justin ever really recover from concussions? Is Chipper the bionic man (no)? How much longer will Hamilton's body last after what he did to it for all those years?

What are you giving up? A 3B that still has his prime in front of him, an OF that still has his prime in front of him, a young pitcher possibly hitting his prime right now, and a decent closer.

Not sure what the allure to this trade is. Yes, I understand Hamilton played out of his mind for a 2 week stretch there, but I wouldn't jump on that so quickly. That's probably what the other owner is thinking. Get rid of Hamilton while his value is at an all-time high. Yet, in a dynasty league, you have to take that value with a grain of salt. In a redraft league? Yeah, maybe I'm doing this. In a dynasty league? No thanks.
