Help me pick an SS. (WHIR)

Postby osbtensor » Wed May 09, 2012 12:14 am

I currently have a. ramirez. It's a 10 team league so there a few respectable replacements.

10 team league, points only.

a. ramirez (incumbent) - normally a slow starter.. maybe i'm just being impatient and need to wait a bit longer
z. cozart - young up and coming player with a little pop in a pretty good lineup. has great potential.
j. peralta - had a big year in 2011.. not living up to that in 2012, but still avg++ and could breakout again and have a solid outing.
e. bonifacio - not going to have a lot of rbi, but runs and swiped bags could be pretty impressive. doubt he's better than above guys, but worth mentioning
e. aybar - i thought this would be his year, but not so far. trout is now lead off and I doubt that changes. he needs to really impress.
y. escobar - solid avg, no power. about it. you know what you're getting. not a high ceiling, but a no basement either. solid ground.
s. drew - not off the dl yet, but getting close. has some power.. i consider him a cozart-type player (or is cozart a drew-type player?)
m. scutaro - don't know alot about him.. solid production overall. nothing spectacular. a little bit of everything, nothing really negative. just nothing great either.

Post a link and I'll respond to yours.

Thanks!

Fantasy sports are ruled by the 50-50-90 rule...

Anytime you have a 50/50 choice between two players, 90% of the time, you'll get it wrong

Bonifacio should be owned in all leagues just for his multi position eligibility alone.
He is the best choice if you need steals, otherwise i'd go with Cozart.

I agree with this.

As for Hardy...good offense for a defensive SS...but if he even cracks this list...it would be somewhere between Cozart and Peralta IMO

Little help with mine?
