Pending trade:
Giving: Jake Peavy, Jim Johnson
Getting: Mark Teixeira

Getting Tex and losing Johnson means I should probably move Freeman or someone else for a closer. I found one guy in our league who has a real weak 1B. His RPs are Bell, Nathan, Rodney, Ogando and Chapman. Our league counts holds.

He also has a few starters I'm interested in: Price, Gallardo, Cueto, Lewis, Halladay (no chance on this one I'm thinking).

I have three options the way I see it:
1) Offer Freeman for Nathan/Rodney, or someone else
2) Offer a package for a guy like Price (one of my SP's + Freeman)
3) When the trade clears, use the empty spot to add Tyler Clippard maybe, and also drop LaHair for somebody

What's the best course of action? I apologize for the several questions, but not sure what to do now that I'm losing Johnson. The trade may be a bad fit for my team, but it was too good to say no to.

Thanks and leave a link!

Great job selling high on Johnson and Peavy. ;-D

Id try to move an OF, you have plenty and Young should be back soon. Is it a keeper league? if not maybe one of the two youngsters (trout and harper) with freeman for a SP? the league favors starters a great deal.
Fantasy sports are ruled by the 50-50-90 rule...

Anytime you have a 50/50 choice between two players, 90% of the time, you'll get it wrong
