Who Do I Pick Up???...????

Postby etl1692 » Thu May 03, 2012 1:08 am

Do I have room for Aroldis Chapman or Alexei Ogando?? I really like both candidates. I know they are not closers, or full time starters, but is there any value in them with my scoring, or should I stay put? Also Jarrod Parker is available.... Grab him instead?????

As of now, you don't need a reliever. Holds don't count in your league but if they did, I would pick them up. As for Parker, you don't need him. You can try trade De Aza for a better pitcher because you won't need him with Kemp, Upton, and Upton.

Agreed

I prefer chapman over Ogando but I think you only do it if you are content with getting good k and whip numbers with the potential bonus of chapman getting starts eventually.

De aza is the one to go if u do.

Thanks for your help. If you want Chapman go for it. With either him or De Aza you have a guy that you wont be playing every day. So its not much of a risk, but there isnt a huge upside either.

I would consider picking up Parker. I think he wil have a couple of more really good starts, but then he will be scouted better and teams will do a little better. I believe he is the real deal.

I'm definitely a fan of Chapman. Not as significant in H2H as roto, but still is gonna give you solid ratios. I'll take him over Milone anyday
C - Lucroy
1B - Goldscmidt
2B - Odor
3B - Longoria
SS - Correa
OF - Marte, Jones, Heyward
Util - Hanley, Mazara
BN - Piscotty, AJ Reed

SP - Syndergaard, Fernandez, Keuchel, Martinez, Odorizzi, Liriano, Corbin
RP - Robertson, Rondon, Osuna
DL - Street
