0 for 8 today, but he did pitch 2 innings of scoreless relief. yes, TWO innings as a PITCHER in an extra inning game that went 17 innings, and he got the WIN. too bad that doesn't count in fantasy.
I don't like this move at all though. the Orioles should not be using Davis as a pitcher with the offensive season he is having, too much of a risk for him to get injured.

And messing with whatever Mojo it is he's found.

Then again, maybe getting the W will make him more relaxed and confident.I'd probably sit him tomorrow as a precaution, but that would leave me a bat short due to some teams being off.I've got just enough bodies to fill my roster. One of them being Adam Dunn in a double header.

I could start out the week with double digit K's.

I think all owners should be awarded his pitching stats for today following the pathetic 0 for 8 :-)

I wonder if the game he pitched had an effect on him. since that game on May 6th he only has 3 hits ( 3 singles) in 20 AB with 9 K, and that doesn't count the 0 for 8 with 5 K on that day May 6th.
I don't think they should have pitched him in that game.

splits for April and May.

April- .310/.359/.563/.922/ 4 HR/ 12 RBI/ 18 K in 21 games (71 AB)
May- .217/.250/.304/.554/ 1 HR/ 3 RBI/ 17 K in 11 games (46 AB)

I think he just woke up and looked in the mirror and remembered he isn't very good. I don't think pitching suddenly turned him back into the player he's been his entire career.

The fact that he was 0-8 with 5 Ks in the game before he pitched is an indication that he just came back to earth. He's not as bad as May, or as good as April. But yeah... I don't think pitching affected him.

Dropped him in both of my leagues. It was fun while it lasted.
