Trade for Miggy

Postby jefferey13 » Mon Apr 16, 2012 8:21 pm

The team with Cabrera is trying to unload him, I imagine in light of his current struggles.

10 Team H2H standard cats except OBP for AVG. Guy is looking for a 2 for 1 or 2 for 2. I don't think hes looking for a straight across trade. Our league plays an extra IF and one Util

I am struggling to put together a good deal, any thoughts? Obviously I am hoping to Miggy at a bit of discount. FWIW my team had the best numbers in the first week already. (kemp, ethier, halladay, young all were sensational)

Dude, Miggy does not really struggle. A three game stretch is about as bad as it gets for him. Any one who freaks out at this point and tries to unload them is clearly out of there mind.

I don't think you can really expect to get him at a discount, although it would still be worth it to throw a solid offer at him. He is the best of the best.

For starters he will need a 1b in return so your trade will start something like this............
Hosmer for sure. Then he looks a little thin at pitcher. I would offer up Bum, and billings while his value is high. you get back miggy, (a undervalued vet like beckett could be the steal) and then prob. floyd or his other worst player

In reality though you will prob. have to fork up doc or kershaw with billings or chacin.

Hosmer, Doc, billings, for Miggy, beckett and floyd would be a great deal for you and prob. the most logical to him.
