I want the Fielder side of that deal, especially with Stanton's possible injury. It may be nothing at all, but I still would want Prince over Stanton, all things being equal.

Not that you haven't looked over these stats numerous times but as you can tell Fielder is irreplaceable(unless your trading for miggy).

Not that Stanton didn't have a great year last year but here is the huge difference, Fielder has produced those numbers for the last six years healthy! Stanton is already having back issues which have been lingering since early March. Not only that but even if he stays healthy can repeat last year? Better? Worse? Too many ifs. You know what Prince will do.

The other players involved are almost smoke in mirrors. The real trade here is Stanton for Fielder and imo, Fielder is practically an untouchable.

Great analysis. And great points by all thus far. I think this trade is only good if I am dying to have Gallardo. Just not worth moving Prince, especially with Miggy hopefully getting 3B eligibility soon so I can put him at 1B instead of my utility.
