First year of fantasy baseball, could use some advice!

Hey everyone, this is my first time playing Fantasy Baseball, I am in a 10 Team H2H League, this is my team I drafted.

C Piazza, Mike C NYM
1B Millar, Kevin 1B BOS
2B Durham, Ray 2B SF
3B Glaus, Troy 3B ANA
SS Tejada, Miguel SS BAL
LF Berkman, Lance LF HOU
RF Guerrero, Vladimir RF ANA
CF Podsednik, Scott CF MIL
U Gibbons, Jay RF BAL

SP Loaiza, Esteban SP CHW
SP Colon, Bartolo SP ANA
SP Santana, Johan SP MIN
RP Percival, Troy RP ANA
RP Mantei, Matt RP ARI
RP Borowski, Joe RP CHC
RP Hawkins, LaTroy RP CHC

Konerko, Paul 1B CHW
Kennedy, Adam 2B ANA
Mueller, Bill 3B BOS
Berroa, Angel M. SS KC
Crosby, Bobby SS OAK
Crawford, Carl LF TB

I made a few major mistakes in the draft due to lag issues and mis-queueing picking a few people out of order which sort of messed up my strategy, but that's another story I suppose.

One of my main problems is playing Durham over Kennedy.

I'd really like to get some feedback on my team! Strengths, weaknesses...feel free to be mean if that's what it takes ;-)

I really like your offense. You could really use a top tier starting pitcher. You have excellent ss. Crosby is having a big spring. You might look for someone who needs a SS and try a trade.

I agree. pitching is your weak spot. try to trade for a top starter. you could also drop hawkins for a starter. set-up men aren't much use in a 5x5 league and with 10 teams, you should have some decent sleepers on your waiver wire.
Bear in mind, I've been trying to get a life...

See if someone like Affeldt is available for pitching. I would start Crawford ahead of Posednik myself.

Definitely start Durham over Kennedy. Kennedy is very unreliable against left-handed pitchers, plus he's slotted to bat 9th in the Angels lineup as opposed to Durham's 1st in the Giants lineup (he'll finish with 100 more At-Bats than Kennedy).

Possibilities for trades:

- trade Podsednick ASAP...even if his AVG and Steals stay up, his runs will go way down because there's no Brewer that can bat him you've got Carl Crawford who's got much more potential to steal bases and get hits/runs than Podsednick.
- trade Tejada...Berroa is just a small step down in terms of offensive production and you can fetch a power 1st baseman

If you can package Tejada and Podsednick together, you could end up with one of the best 1st basemen in the game like Todd Helton or Jim Thome
