Hey guys,

Long time reader, first time poster. Looking forward to being an active part of the forums.. have LOVED the articles here for both fantasy baseball and fantasy football. Wanted to get some thoughts on a team I drafted last week.

6x6 ten team roto league with the following categories (auction league by the way)

200 starts cap for the season

C: Mike Napoli
1B: Joey Votto
2B: Ian Kinsler
3B: Brett Lawrie
SS: Zach Cozart
MI: Ben Zobrist
CI: Ike Davis
OF: Ichiro
OF: Desmond Jennings
OF: Josh Hamilton
OF: Curtis Granderson
UTIL: Nick Swisher
UTIL: Chase Headley
UTIL: Angel Pagan
BENCH: Chris Davis (Baltimore 1B)
DL: Carlos Quentin

SP: Zack Greinke
SP: Madison Bumgarner
SP: Steven Strasburg
SP: Derek Holland
SP: Gavin Floyd
SP: John Danks
RP: Kenley Jansen
RP: Tyler Clippard
RP: David Robertson
RP: Carlos Marmol
RP: Greg Holland
RP: Joel Peralta

In my opinion, my only true weakness is in the saves department, but I think that a lot of the guys that I have will start the year as setup men and be able to get me holds, and then later in they year can become closers and get me some saves. All of my relief pitchers are high K guys which I purposely targeted to counteract Strasburg's innings cap and the somewhat shallow starting pitching. I really like my offense and think there are a lot of really solid potential speed power guys and I don't think my team should yield TOO low of an average considering the power.

Would love thoughts and suggestions in terms of guys you think I can maybe package in a trade or possible FA that may be on the wire to put on my watch list. Thanks again!

Very soild team overall, Your Relief Pitching is the one area that sticks out the most as a weakness, but it is a very deep league and if your going to be weak somewhere, thats where I would choose as well.

Thanks man. I agree with RP being my weakness for sure... I'm just trying to figure out who good guys are to add or trade for are without giving up too much offensively

I was able to sure up some weakness in my opinion:

I dropped Joel Peralta and picked up Hector Santiago, who seems to have a fairly secure job as the White Sox closer. I also picked up Mark Trumbo after someone bailed on him for not getting enough ABs early in the season: I dropped Chris Davis for him.

My new team is as follows:

C Mike Napoli
1B Joey Votto
2B Ian Kinsler
3B Brett Lawrie
SS Zack Cozart
MI Ben Zobrist
CI Ike Davis
OF Curtis Granderson
OF Ichiro
OF Josh Hamilton
OF Desmond Jennings
UTIL Nick Swisher
UTIL Angel Pagan
UTIL Chase Headley
BENCH Mark Trumbo
DL Carlos Quentin

SP Zack Greinke
SP Steven Strasburg
SP Madison Bumgarner
SP Derek Holland
SP Gavin Floyd
SP John Danks
RP Kenley Jensen
RP Tyler Clippard
RP Greg Holland
RP David Robertson
RP Hector Santiago
RP Carlos Marmol

One thing I'm a bit worried about is the number of ABs my team will be able to get with only one bench player. Does anyone have any suggestions, thoughts, opinions?

Thanks in advance.

How many bench spots can you have between hitters and pitchers?

I like those two moves....And you have a solid team there.

That 200 starts cap must be a pain!

Thanks for the help on mine ;-D

you don't seem like you need much help. I might drop Ike Davis but that's just because I don't like him...maybe grab Alex Rios if he's still out there.
