That's kind of what I was thinking when I initially mentioned it. It's easy to say that it looks awful (it still is) but if your target demographic likes it then that's important. It will be interesting to track attendance and see if they can maintain a respectable level with the new ballpark. there were a couple of reasons that people didn't go to games before. An awful stadium was one of them.
